She says, “Promises are not meant to be broken, otherwise you would not make the promise.”
He says, “Promises are meant to be broken because if you trust a person, you would not ask him to make a promise.”
Sometimes people break their promises for a better outcome.
You think the outcome would be better but would it be a better outcome for the person you have made your promises with?
I do not argue on the saying, “promises are meant to be broken” but I do keep another saying in mind, “don’t make promises you can’t keep.”
